Unwrap our Christmas News…

It’s been another busy year at RHP and, like a well decorated tree, it’s been a colourful one! Our elves, yet again, have worked with some great clients on some very innovative projects. We have WRAPped up some HaFSA gifts (I know we did this WRAPped up pun last year, but we like to recycle the crackers!) by continuing to manage and support the Hospitality and Food Service Agreement (HaFSA) working groups.

We have been in our workshop creating business resilience training (in response to the extreme weather experienced earlier on in the year) for VisitEngland, venturing out with the reindeer to train trainers to deliver the programme across the land.

Our elves have taken their sledge overseas too, flying into Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Egypt, Jordan and Thailand unwrapping eco-labelling and protecting birdlife.

Our exciting new training packages were launched with bells on this year too and we hosted a successful open training session in Oxford with HOSPA at the vivid and quirky Turl Street Kitchen.

Now we are turning our attention to LED fairy lights, recyclable Christmas wrapping and recipes for leftover turkey, we leave you with some festive food for thought and wish you all a very Merry Green Christmas and profitable, fun filled and ethical New Year.

Stocking fillers from RHP

Turkeys – It is the season for giving and when food is a central focus for celebration perhaps there is no better time to start supporting your local food bank or food to charity. Have a look at what’s going on in your area:
•Fareshare
•Planzheroes
•Oxford Food Bank

Tinsel – As the tinsel of the festive period dulls, perhaps freshen up reception areas with wheat and rice grasses for a fresh change from flowers. A little different, creative, effective but efficient…they can last for 3 – 4 weeks.

Presents – Stuck for present ideas… can you shop locally, ethically, choose sustainable or recycled gifts or get handy and make it yourself? Here’s a few ideas:
•Ecocentric
•Green Tulip
•People Tree
